Arriving in Nicaragua

Jason and I arrived home from our medical mission trip to Nicaragua just before midnight.

It was an amazing trip with an amazing God and amazing people.
I am excited to share about our experience!

We got up really early to meet at the church at 7 am!
After a 3 and 1/2 hour flight, we arrived in Managua, Nicaragua.
Dan, our missions pastor, was waiting for us at the airport!

After getting all of our luggage into our rental trucks,
we started the 3 hour trip to Jinotega.
On the way we stopped to eat lunch.
Our first meal in Nicaragua- fried chicken and french fries!

After surviving the ride to Jinotega, (there are lots of crazy drivers in Nicaragua!)
we arrived at the house. Martha had an awesome dinner ready for us.

Then it was time to work. We started unpacking and organizing
everything we brought to get ready for the week.

Organizing the drugs to figure out what we had and how much to take to clinic each day.

Counting multivitamins into bags of 30!

All of the toys to give away to the kids- bubbles, play dough, jump ropes,  and books!

After we finished getting organized it was time for bed. We had to rest up for the rest of the week!

Psalm 115:1 (NLT)
"Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory, for you unfailing love and faithfulness."
